This simple radiation monitor is compatible with a range of plug-in Geiger Müller tubes. The instrument is alpha, beta and gamma sensitive when fitted with an end-window GM tube. It has a logarithmic scale covering 0.2 cps to 2000cps. Each detected event can produce an audible "tick" and a high level alarm can be set anywhere on the scale. The hinged handle can be positioned to enable comfortable stress free use over prolonged periods.
