The DLP5 and DLP7 pulse generators are primarily designed for testing Nucleonic Pulse Counting Systems.
These pulse generators are portable battery powered units that produce negative going pulses at five selectable widths from 10ns to 220ns with an additional range at greater than 2ms. In the DLP5 the pulse rate is fixed at 5kHz and in the DLP7 the pulse rate is selectable in seven ranges from 100kHz to 0.1Hz.
Two BNC outputs are provided, one being a current source and the other a voltage source.
The units have been designed to operate with a low battery drain (typically 0.5mA) and battery life is typically greater than 1000 hours.
