The RP9 pulse generator has been primarily designed for reactor pulse channel calibration and testing, however, it is also a convenient laboratory tool when used as a PRF generator giving crystal accuracy over a very wide range.
The pulse width is preset to correspond to the fission counter being simulated.
The instrument is housed in a 2U high19" rack mount chassis and is mains powered (85 to 254V, 47 to 440Hz).
